Land of Minotaus and Giants

The southeast part of the Cairn continent is majorly made up of extremely dry and sun-scorched plains. Broken and twined rock structures scatter upon the land. Winds sweep across the plains mercilessly and endlessly, letting out extended huge howling around the protruding rocks. Tornadoes and dust evils hide their bodies among the scrubs, and arid, wild electrical storms enjoy themselves wildly throughout the flats.
In the past, Cairn was the homeland of the peace-loving and religious people called the aernar. They lived in separated adobe houses and make a hard life out of the barren land. But this didn't last long because minotaurs began to migrate from the mainland about 290 years ago and fiercely took the control of the aernar villages one after another. The settlements of the aernar are preserved and occupied by the ruling minotaurs. But the number of unmaintained houses shows an increasing sign. The minotaus fixed their focus on preparing wars and carrying out raids on the mainland coast regularly.
The minotaus routinely clash with Hill Giants, an equally warlike race like minotaus. They wander in small groups inside Cairn.
