Its Polearms are with the longest Reach, highest damage per hit, slowest speed, and the largest arc. Although they are slow, they are the easiest to land a hit with. Great damage can be done by them. In the case what you are looking for is not melee, obviously polearms are your good choice. Polearms can give good damage and reach on those whirlwinds when they are your necessary. Unlike other 2H weapons, they do not require a lot of precise aim. A small knockback on each hit produced by polearms can be either good or bad, which is depending on your style. The knowckback has the advantage to fleeing opponents, for it can push them out of your range within a couple hits. On the other hand, when they fight against someone with a shorter range, the knockback can be used to keep the opponent from getting as close as they would like.
